As a member of the BC Forest Safety Council, Conifex maintains SAFE Companies certification on activities conducted on its forest license in Fort St James. Conifex Inc. is registered under the SEBASE program and recently passed its recertification audit for Fort St James in December 2010. Mackenzie is expected to achieve certification as it integrates into the existing framework established at Fort St James and the annual audit at the end of the year will incorporate this.
