Board of Directors, Officers and Management TeamDirectors

Our board of directors includes executives who have been responsible for compiling superior performance records in fiercely competitive cyclical industries. Our five board members have personally invested to purchase shares of Conifex and own 40% of the present equity in our company. The directors are responsible for managing or supervising the management of the business and affairs of the Company. Directors do not conduct day-to-day management of the Company; that is the responsibility of the Officers. The Directors shall at all times act in the best interests of the Company.

Brad Johansen

Brad Johansen - President and CEO of Welco Lumber Corp., a privately owned lumber marketing and distribution company headquartered in Greater Vancouver
 
George Malpass
George is the former CEO of Primex Forest Products, a coastal BC operator. George served as a director of International Forest Products and Riverside Forest Products.
 

Dave Roberts

Dave recently retired from Raymond James Ltd. where he headed up that firm's institutional equity business based in Toronto.
 
Jim Shepherd

Jim is the former CEO of Canfor Corporation and Slocan Forest Products Ltd. Jim is the former President of Crestbrook Forest Industries Ltd. and Finlay Forest Industries Limited.
 
Ken Shields 

Ken is the CEO of Conifex and the former CEO of Raymond James Ltd. Ken is a former director of Slocan Forest Products Ltd. and Timber West Forest Corp. Ken is currently a director of Mercer International Inc. and Raymond James Financial Ind..
