Our Fort St. James plant is capable of producing contractor grade and high quality dimension lumber as well as significant volumes of higher value Machine Stress Rated (MSR) lumber and J-grade for Japan. Our lumber is sold in the US, Canada, China and Japan.
Conifex’s production is 300 mmfbm annually of Western SPF, heavier to White Spruce for superior quality with very little Pine Beetle kill. Welco is the exclusive distributor of all Conifex products worldwide handling all sales, marketing and logistics. This unique marketing partnership allows Welco to align both the customer and mill needs together to produce higher returns for both.
